The routine maintenance visit covers routine maintenance work, including the following:

  • Bulb change labor
  • Socket greasing for longevity
  • Ground mounting stake replacements
  • Cleaning of lenses
  • Cleaning of fixture surfaces
  • Straightening tilted path lights
  • Re-aiming accent lights for maximum effect

What DOESN'T the plan price cover?

  • Socket replacement labor / parts
  • Locating wire shorts / breaks
  • Transformer replacements

  • Adding new lights, transformers, or wire
  • Rewiring fixtures with bad connections
  • Troubleshooting wiring connections

Anything not covered under the plan is billed in addition to the $120 visit charge, with a 10% discount for parts and labor.

How frequent are the routine maintenance visits?

You can choose either quarterly or semi-annual visits for your routine maintenance plan, and you're free to change the frequency at any time. There are no contracts to sign.

How do you bill for the maintenance plans?

Maintenance plan visits are billed the day of your visit, along with any additional costs such as new bulbs, sockets, or mounting stakes.

You'll be notified of additional costs before the work is done, so no surprises.

I do not auto-bill, so you never have to worry about unexpected charges.

I will also reach out to coordinate the visits with your schedule and will not show up unannounced.

Why is a routine maintenance plan more cost-effective for me?

The cost of a normal service call is $120, but doesn't give you any discounts.

The cost of a routine maintenance plan visit is a flat $120, but you get 10% off on parts and labor for each visit, along with any other service calls YEAR-ROUND.

So, if you wind up needing service at some other point throughout the year, you're going to save 10% on that entire visit.

It also gives you a 10% discount on system expansions and upgrades.

This is especially cost-effective for homeowners with older lights that have more frequent socket and adjustment issues.

If your lighting system is more than 10 years old, this is the cheapest way to keep it going and avoid the expense of a complete system replacement.

What is the normal price for a lighting repair service visit?

I charge a flat fee of $120 for lighting repair service calls within a 30 minute drive of my business location in South Tempe. This includes the first hour of service troubleshooting and/or repairs, and is due at the conclusion of the service visit.

Can you restore landscape lights that are 20 years old?

If you have landscape lighting that’s 10, 20, or even 30+ years old, there’s a good chance we can restore your system to its original beauty. Even better, with LED retrofitting, we can often increase the quantity and quality of light that comes from your fixtures. And, if your fixture sockets have deteriorated with time, we can replace them to restore reliable lighting to your home’s landscaping. Whatever the issue might be with your aging landscape lighting, we’re here to help you avoid the cost of a full replacement if at all possible.

Can old landscape lights be converted to LED bulbs?

Yes! One amazing trait about LED light bulbs is that most of the time, they can be used in older lighting systems. This can help reduce your energy bill by up to 90% on your lighting systems, whether indoors or outdoors. And even better, most of the LED bulbs we carry have a rated life of 30,000+ hours and lifetime warranty from the manufacturer! Put these bulbs in once, and you’re set for life. Less hassle, less energy, less money out of your pocket!

Can you add more lights to my current low voltage lighting system?

In most cases, yes! The main limitation is how much capacity your transformer is currently operating at. Beyond that, the amount of lights on one wiring run can impact expansion.

However, it's usually still possible to add lights, you might just need another transformer and/or more wire.

Will you install lights that I already purchased?

Yes! I'm happy to install lights that you purchased yourself. Keep in mind, I can't offer warranty service for these fixtures. I only offer warranty support for the fixtures I'm a vendor for (ProTrade, FX Luminaire, and Vista).

Will you partner with landscapers on lighting maintenance plans?

Yes! I'm always looking for quality landscapers to partner with. If your customers need routine maintenance on their lighting, I offer subcontractor rates. Call or text for details.
